It was a great privilege to be hired by St. Louis School to bring Hawaiian entertainment to its New York gathering in support of Heisman Trophy finalist Marcus Mariota. The gathering took place at Lexington Brass in Manhattan where school administrators, alumni, and Marcus’ family were in attendance. We had a great time meeting everyone and sharing in the excitement and anticipation. Three local news stations from Hawai’i covered the event.
Amazing to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary in Flushing, New York. What a party! 8-course Chinese banquet with hula, music, ballroom dancing, piano/bass duet, and surprise visit by NYC Comptroller John Liu. The highlight had to be the anniversary couple singing Lei Aloha Lei Makamae! I am so grateful to have been a part of the special celebration.
I would give the greatest sunset in the world for one sight of New York’s skyline. – Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead
